Little Champions 1 introduces Tamarac children ages six and seven to the foundational language of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: guard, mount, side control, escape, takedown. Each concept is taught through demonstration, drilling with a partner, and positional play — a three-step teaching sequence that locks in technique better than instruction alone. The Gracie Barra belt-and-stripe system gives this age group concrete milestones to track. Tamarac parents who initially enrolled one child in Little Champions 1 frequently enroll a sibling within a semester — the program's ability to hold a six-year-old's enthusiasm long-term is unusual enough to drive word-of-mouth enrollment.
